Some Maverick History

Recent rumors of Project 2011 at Busch Gardens Tampa reusing the old Monorail building for the station and the wet portion of Rhino Rally being reused for a themed launch zone made me remember that this isn't the only coaster reusing some facilities.

At the end of the 2005 season, Cedar Point removed the White Water Landing log flume to make room for their 2007 addition, Maverick. But Maverick did reused a building from the log flume... the station of the former attraction.

Today, the station for White Water Landing now serves as Maverick's on-ride photo booth and queue. So guess BGT's new coaster (if rumors are true, which is pretty likely at this point) will be related to Maverick under two reasons:

1. The coaster will be an Intamin Blitz, and be built low to the ground.
2. The coaster will reuse the old Monorail building as the station, and the wet portion of Rhino Rally for a themed launch zone.

I'll post a timeline of BGT's next coaster shortly...
