Right after the final ride, the power was cut and the dismantling of the trains/ride fences of the now closed Great American Scream Machine coaster had begun. As people got out, they can no longer see it from the parking lot.

According to this link, the following has been reported today about the coaster's deconstruction...
12:15 pm - The lot next to the old GASM coaster has been blocked off by cones and trash cans.
12:35 pm - The trains have been removed from the ride (the train shown is the one with axe twist ads on it a.k.a. the white train) and are scattered around the ride area.
12:51 pm - Jersey Central Power & Light is on site removing lights from the coaster.
That's all what was reported so far. No track is removed/demolished yet.
