That's pretty much the update, though I want to pass this crappy info (Wikipedia):
On July 5, 2010, Six Flags Great Adventure informally announced on their official [[Facebook]] page that the Great American Scream Machine would be closed on July 18, 2010 permanently to "make room for a major new attraction in 2011."{{Ref|1}}Immediately after the final run and the last riders had made their way out the exit on July 18, 2010, the power was cut to the ride area and deconstruction began immediately on the trains and ride area fences, where the park began to place "under construction" fencing and signs.{{Ref|2}} It is possible that this ride will be reloacted to [[Six Flags Kentucky Kingdom]] in 2011.
Now this is just Wikipedia crap, because I've seen GASM getting demolished, and it looks to be getting scrapped. The trains are also for sale, which gives it a 0% chance of getting relocated.
