RCPro posted an update on the Sesame Street Safari of Fun update. More work progressed and markers started appearing. Here are three pics from RCPro:
I wonder when the whole Land of the Dragons be surrounded by construction walls.
As you can see, markers for footers started appearing hinting that this may be where the Air Grover roller coaster is.
All the dirt that has been dug as of now is located by Gwazi.
Busch Gardens Williamsburg:
A classic coaster from BGW will sadly have its last ride tomorrow. Yes, tomorrow is the last day for Big Bad Wolf. I didn't ride it, but I looked at a POV and it was so cool. BBW was an Arrow Suspended Coaster which opened in 1984 and ever since then, it has been a beloved classic. On May 22, 2009, rumors began to rise that BBW would leave at the end of the 2009 season. On July 2009, it was announced that Big Bad Wolf will be removed as the ride reached the end of its service life. It is unknown what will replace BBW, but some speculate a B&M Flyer will replace it. What is my reaction? I found it shocking that they would remove it so soon. Don't get me wrong, a Flyer would be an awesome addition for BGW (because Manta was awesome, and giving its success they ought to do one at BGW), but as the amount of B&Ms grow, the amount of Arrows shrink. They already removed Python at BGA in 2006 to make room for Jungala.
Here is what might happen if they keep this up: Soon they will remove Lochness Monster (BGW), Corkscrew (Cedar Point), Carolina Cyclone (Carowinds), Demon (SFGAm), X2 (SFMM), etc. Eventually there will be no more Arrows on Earth. I'm not saying this will happen, just making a guess.
I'm not sure what the new B&M is yet, but I think it may be BGW's flyer (hopefully). Keep your fingers crossed people!
Kings Dominion:
Still no sign of track installation, but more supports are going up for Intimidator 305. My reaction: When in the name of Merlin are they going to install track?! Carowinds is getting attention... ALL OF IT!
In the parking lot, giant pieces for the crane have arrived in the other fenced off area (and Clint Novak said we wouldn't see anymore excitement in the parking lot XD).
Carowinds:
Nothing new with Intimidator except catwalks have gone up on the turnaround.
Universal Studios Florida:
Screamscape reported this on 8/18/2009:
(8/18/09) Fear Factor Live has closed down once again, this time to make way for the new Bill & Ted show for Halloween Horror Nights. However, we’ve heard that Fear Factor is likely gone for good this time around. So far the rumored replacement shows sound too crazy to be true, but it got me thinking… why haven’t NBC/Universal attempted to take advantage of the popular Heroes TV show yet? A small live action show based on Heroes could be quite popular and fun in the old Wild West Arena.
I'm praying for the bolded sentence to be true.
If it is true:
Fear Factor LIVE!
2005-2009
