My Version of KND

Well, the information on my KND is finally revealed today:

Episode 1 (Operation: C.A.N.A.D.A.):

The KND go on a bus to Montréal, Quebec, Canada. Numbuh (I know it is "number," but in the series, that is how you say it) 4 sat alone on the back row. There was a blonde girl in the bus as well. Meanwhile, a scoutmaster, Chester (the antagonist), is planning to defeat the KND. He sends his henchmen (Rufus (the dumb one), Randy (the smart one), and Rusty (the evil one) to spy on them and send the bus returning to America to Camp Sleepy Hollows (a camp in northern Quebec). When the henchmen arrive however, a Mountie, a Canadian Police officer, confronts Randy. He speaks French. Randy does not know French so the Mounties arrest him (XD). Rusty appears in the underground city in Montréal to spy on Numbuhs 1, 2, and 4. Rufus spies on Numbuhs 3 and 5. At one point, Numbuh 5 got a plate saying "Help us! You are our only hope!" She buys the plate. At the end of the day, the KND return to the bus. As planned, Rusty sends the bus up north and Rufus busts out Randy.

Episode 2 (Operation: C.A.M.P.):

The episode begins with the KND waking up on the bus and realizing that something is terribly wrong. Why were they not going south to Cleveland? They arrive at Camp Sleepy Hollows. Chester separates them in cabins. The next morning, Numbuhs 1 and 4 get sent to the pig shed after refusing to work on plates. Numbuhs 2, 3, and 5 work on the plates as well as another person. That person was the same blonde girl who was in the bus with them on the way to Montréal. This episode introduces a new henchman: Rally (who does not know of Chester's plan).

Episode 3 (Operation: S.I.X.):

Numbuhs 1 and 4 break out of the pig shed and confront Chester threatening Numbuhs 2, 3, and 5, as well as the blonde girl (who is Numbuh 6). They battle and then the henchmen put the KND to sleep. Numbuh 6 wakes the others and she makes a plan to call the Mounties to arrest Chester. First Numbuh 2 will pretend to escape the camp and they will run after him, while the others call the Mounties.

Episode 4 (Operation: M.O.U.N.T.I.E.S.):

The KND proceed with the plan. Numbuh 2 runs out and the henchmen chase him. The others call the phone, but accidently call Rufus (XD). They then call the Mounties. By the river, the Mounties confront Chester and his henchmen. While his henchmen are arrested, Chester escapes. The KND are safe but then they drop through a waterfall.

Episode 5 (Operation: W.I.T.C.H.):

The KND survive the waterfall but they, however, are lost. Numbuh 1 looks for help. He sees a house with light and he calls the others. The KND knock on the door, and an old lady appears. She welcomes them in and gives them food. Then, suddenly, Numbuh 4 falls asleep. It is revealed that the old lady is a witch (just like the one from EPCOT! O_o). The KND try to stop her, but she puts Numbuhs 1, 2, and 5 to sleep. Numbuh 6 calls the Mounties. The others awaken and fight the witch. The Mounties arrive and arrest her. The Mounties tell the KND to come with them.

Episode 6 (Operation: E.R.I.E.):

The episode begins with some scenes showing people knowing about Chester's plan (thus viewers assume that the KND told the Mounties about Chester) as the KND sail back to Cleveland on a ferry boat with the Mountie sheriff as the captain. However, Chester confronts the KND.

Episode 7 (Operation: N.I.A.G.A.R.A.):

Chester ties up the sheriff and takes control of the ferry boat. He turns the ferry northeast... towards Niagara Falls. The KND try to stop Chester, but he strongly continued steering it to Niagara Falls. At the edge of the falls, Chester escapes to the other side. But, the other Mounties save the KND and the sheriff as well as Chester's former henchmen. As the Mounties arrest Chester, they think of arresting the henchmen but chose not to arrest Rufus or Rally (because Rufus is just dumb, and Rally discovers Chester is evil and turns against him). Rusty and Randy, however, get sent to French school. The KND return to Cleveland with everyone cheering.

Epilogue:

Three years later, Numbuhs 4 & 6 date each other, Numbuhs 2 and 3 date each other, and Numbuhs 1 & 5 date each other.

Chang Update #1

No track removal yet, but the 2 trains have already been removed according to these pics (more on http://www.themeparkreview.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=51557&postdays=0&postorder=asc&start=440):

Train #1 is already on the truck.

Train #2 is on the truck too.

The construction walls for Bonzai Beach (replacing Chang).

"Welcome to Geauga Lake Kentucky Kingdom."

--------------------------

I still have hopes for it to relocate to Six Flags America. Speaking of relocate, Six Flags St. Louis is planning something for 2010. Some now speculate Chang will relocate to that park.

Switzerland Part 2

Day 2 (April 7, 2009):

I'm off to Konstanz. That is me in St. Gallen Bahnhof (that is how you say train station in German).

That is mom. A train is in the background.

Well, we are at Konstanz, Germany.

Mom with a restaurant in my beloved background.

The dock with a view of Lake Constance.

Hmmm... nice view.

Those trees remind me of Whomping Willow from Harry Potter.

NOTE: This post isn't finished yet!

The Updates of the Intimidators #2

Well, the first big cranes for Intimidator at Carowinds and Intimidator 305 at Kings Dominion are both complete. 305's was complete September 22, 2009, while Intimidator's was complete September 23, 2009. So I expect to see some lift hill construction soon. Speaking of lift hill... a support for the lift hill has gone up on Carowind's Intimidator:

There is also some red track on site and the second crane is complete and there are rumors that 305's second crane is complete too. Something tells me we will see some lift hill construction soon. BTW, that support was up on Monday, but was taken down for an unknown reason. Now it is back up!!!!!!!!! WOOT!!!!!!!!!! :)

Floods in Georgia

A few days ago, there have been big floods in the Atlanta area... including Six Flags Over Georgia. I'm very worried about the park. What will become of it? If it closes for good, what will become of their coasters especially their 4 B&Ms (Batman: The Ride (Inverted), Georgia Scorcher (Stand-Up), Superman Ultimate Flight (Flyer), and Goliath (Hyper))? I just hope the park will reopen soon (if all goes well) with all their coasters...

Switzerland Part 1

Well, the pics from Switzerland last April are finally available. Check it out:

Day 1 (April 6, 2009):

That's me at Säntispark. What you are seeing in the background is my favorite water slide in the water park: Canyon.

They are doing a Migros at Säntispark.

Mom at the bus station.

The wave pool.

My journey is on!

If I don't come back... tell my classmate Giancarlos to grow up!

And to make the story short, I survived the wave pool and Canyon.

That is all for Day 1. I will post pics of Day 2 soon as well as coaster updates.

P.S.: The next summer, I will go to Europe again to Europa Park.

Chang is Going "Bye-Bye"

Remember that post I had earlier in the month about a rumor that Chang may be removed from Six Flags Kentucky Kingdom to get relocated. Well as of yesterday, the rumor has been proven true. Yes, SFKK has come clean with their plans to relocate Chang. The B&M Stand-Up coaster which opened in 1997 will be relocated to another Six Flags park for some water park expansion (sounds to me like SFKK is becoming Geauga Lake). Now my reaction, I find it shocking that they are removing it just for the water park to appear. I was under the impression that Chang was popular and that the people loved it.

It is unknown where it will be relocated, but most speculate it will be in Six Flags Great America (has 4 B&Ms). Some speculate it will be in Six Flags America (has no B&Ms) or Six Flags Great Adventure (has 4 B&Ms) where both of them have yet to get a stand-up. Another rumor suggests it will be relocated to Six Flags Magic Mountain (has 4 B&Ms) with just the trains sent to Six Flags Great America. I think it should appear at Six Flags America where the park has not only yet to get a stand-up, but also has yet to get a B&M. Six Flags Great Adventure would be nice too, but I want a park that does not have a B&M to experience it. Six Flags Great America or Six Flags Magic Mountain? No. If it is relocated to either of those places, it would mean removing Riddler's Revenge or Iron Wolf. So yeah... I choose Six Flags America.

All Harry Potter Details Revealed

On September 15, 2009, all the details for the Wizarding World of Harry Potter (the new island debuting at Islands of Adventure) have been revealed to the public. Let me give you an overview:

Hogsmeade:

I'm really digging the look of Hogsmeade. Gift shops will include Zonko's, Honeydukes, Three Broomsticks, Hogs Head, and Owl Post. There will also be a meeting space called the Owlery, and as soon as you enter the new island from the Lost Continent, you hear the Hogwarts Express whistling. I also saw concept art of Hogsmeade, and I really like it!

Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey:

The mystery ride being built inside Hogwarts Castle is revealed: Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey. I really like the look of the entrance. The ride will be a robo-arm coaster (this should be interesting) and will take you through scenes of the books and films (I like the books better). The gift shop will be Filch's Emporium of Confiscated Goods.

Flight of the Hippogriff:

The former Flying Unicorn will become Flight of the Hippogriff themed to the hippogriff that appeared in Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban: Buckbeak. The station will be themed to Hagrid's Hut. I really like its new look!

Dragon's Challenge:

Dueling Dragons will be rethemed to Dragon's Challenge (themed to the First Task of the Tri-Wizarding Tournament in Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire). The entrance will be in Hogsmeade across from the Three Broomsticks (which I kinda like) and the pathway will be behind the Owlery and the Owl Post. I also like how there are flags around the entrance to the building holding the queue and station. There will be two sides: Hungarian Horntail and Chinese Fireball. I think the fire dragon will become the Chinese Fireball, and the ice dragon will become the Hungarian Horntail. The gift shop will be Dervish & Banges at Hogsmeade.

Now there is one thing though: the name, Dragon's Challenge. Seriously, was that the best name they could think of? They could have thought of some other name better than Dragon's Challenge like "First Task." If I make an rct3 version of IOA after Harry Potter opens, I will not name it Dragon's Challenge, but First Task. Other than that, I really like how First Task (forget Dragon's Challenge, I will always call it First Task, Dragon's Challenge or not :) ) will be.

Ollivander's:

What's Ollivander's doing in Hogsmeade??? I thought he was in Diagon Alley.

Anyways, Ollivander's is between the Owl Post and Dervish & Banges (the First Task pathway will be behind it too). This is an experience where you find a wand and where, as Ollivander says, "the wand chooses the wizard." Also, around the park, all part of Magiquest, there will be objects around the other lands which can react to the magic of your wand. Cool!

My Opinion:

I really like everything that's happening with the Harry Potter island. The only thing though: Get a new name for Dueling Dragons other than Dragon's Challenge. Other than that, I adore the theming (not to mention the fact that I am a huge Harry Potter fan).

Is it Spring 2010 yet? XD

Intimidator Update #4

Well, the final brake run is complete and workers installed the bottom of the lift hill for Intimidator at Carowinds. Now here is my prediction:

The lift hill will begin from the bottom by next week and will be topped off by the end of October. During that, vertical construction will begin. By November, the first drop and second hill will be complete. The third hill and hammerhead will be complete by the end of 2009. All camelback hills will be complete by the time school starts after Winter Break. The block brake will be up by the end of the first school week since Winter Break. The week after, the helix will go up and by my birthday, January 24, track work will be complete. February will show the first signs of theming and landscaping, the train will arrive, and in the middle of the month, testing will begin. Painting the station will occur in the beginning of March as well as the installation of TV screens in the queue. The week after, theming and landscaping are complete and testing will be finalized. The coaster will open with the park in the beginning of the 2010 season.

Intimidator Update #3

Well, well, well. The final brake run is finally (PUNS!) starting to go up for Intimidator at Carowinds according to this:

AND THERE ARE TWO OTHER PIECES ON SITE!!!!

Here is something that kinda resembles my reaction:

Well, I can see work start on the lift by the end of the month!

DCA Expansion Update

Well, World of Color is progressing with a new stage being built on the viewing area. And the bottom of the future Silly Symphony Swings queue is stained. Other than that, not much going on. Not much with Little Mermaid or Cars Land.

The Updates of the Intimidators

Intimidator 305:

Last weekend, track work finally began on the Intamin Giga Coaster, Intimidator 305, at Kings Dominion, Doswell, Virginia. As of today, 9/14/09, the storage track, station track, and the bottom of the lift hill has gone up. 9/10/09, the storage track has gone up. 9/12/09, transfer track and station track have gone up. 9/13/09, the bottom of the 305 ft. lift hill has gone up.

Intimidator:

What's going on with Intimidator, a B&M hypercoaster, at Carowinds, Charlotte, North Carolina? On 9/11/09, they poured concrete for the storage shed and there was a report that a lift hill support was on the way to Carowinds. As of 9/12/09, there were 11 pieces on site behind Thunder Road, including some of the brake run and lift hill supports and lift hill track. They should have had the brake run on site one month. That probably explains why it isn't installed by now.

...They really got to get some track up! XD. There was a time when Intimidator was accelerating with track (the station and turnaround) but suddenly, they stopped. Intimidator 305 is starting to get all the attention, and all they've been working on lately is the transfer track/storage shed area. PUT SOME TRACK UP, PLEASE!

Intimidator Update #2

Well according to the webcam for Intimidator, there is still no new track... but construction has continued after a week of hiatus. More supports for the transfer track have gone up today according to this pic (and more are there):

Also, here is a link to an awesome version of the webcam.

R.I.P. Big Bad Wolf 1984-2009

Today is the last day for Big Bad Wolf at BGW to rage for the woods as Explosivo will make BBW go "Boom, Boom" in the upcoming weeks. Any last words on this beloved coaster. Here is a POV for you to remember Big Bad Wolf forever:

Park Updates

Busch Gardens Africa:

RCPro posted an update on the Sesame Street Safari of Fun update. More work progressed and markers started appearing. Here are three pics from RCPro:

I wonder when the whole Land of the Dragons be surrounded by construction walls.

As you can see, markers for footers started appearing hinting that this may be where the Air Grover roller coaster is.

All the dirt that has been dug as of now is located by Gwazi.

Busch Gardens Williamsburg:

A classic coaster from BGW will sadly have its last ride tomorrow. Yes, tomorrow is the last day for Big Bad Wolf. I didn't ride it, but I looked at a POV and it was so cool. BBW was an Arrow Suspended Coaster which opened in 1984 and ever since then, it has been a beloved classic. On May 22, 2009, rumors began to rise that BBW would leave at the end of the 2009 season. On July 2009, it was announced that Big Bad Wolf will be removed as the ride reached the end of its service life. It is unknown what will replace BBW, but some speculate a B&M Flyer will replace it. What is my reaction? I found it shocking that they would remove it so soon. Don't get me wrong, a Flyer would be an awesome addition for BGW (because Manta was awesome, and giving its success they ought to do one at BGW), but as the amount of B&Ms grow, the amount of Arrows shrink. They already removed Python at BGA in 2006 to make room for Jungala.

Here is what might happen if they keep this up: Soon they will remove Lochness Monster (BGW), Corkscrew (Cedar Point), Carolina Cyclone (Carowinds), Demon (SFGAm), X2 (SFMM), etc. Eventually there will be no more Arrows on Earth. I'm not saying this will happen, just making a guess.

I'm not sure what the new B&M is yet, but I think it may be BGW's flyer (hopefully). Keep your fingers crossed people!

Kings Dominion:

Still no sign of track installation, but more supports are going up for Intimidator 305. My reaction: When in the name of Merlin are they going to install track?! Carowinds is getting attention... ALL OF IT!

In the parking lot, giant pieces for the crane have arrived in the other fenced off area (and Clint Novak said we wouldn't see anymore excitement in the parking lot XD).

Carowinds:

Nothing new with Intimidator except catwalks have gone up on the turnaround.

Universal Studios Florida:

Screamscape reported this on 8/18/2009:

(8/18/09) Fear Factor Live has closed down once again, this time to make way for the new Bill & Ted show for Halloween Horror Nights. However, we’ve heard that Fear Factor is likely gone for good this time around. So far the rumored replacement shows sound too crazy to be true, but it got me thinking… why haven’t NBC/Universal attempted to take advantage of the popular Heroes TV show yet? A small live action show based on Heroes could be quite popular and fun in the old Wild West Arena.

I'm praying for the bolded sentence to be true.

If it is true:

Fear Factor LIVE!

Intimidator, Intimidator 305, and New B&M???

*The turnaround has gone up today on the new Intimidator coaster. Work has began on the transfer track supports today. Now my prediction:

At the end of the week, I can see the final brake run complete. Next week, we will see the beginning of the lift. Vertical construction on the station will begin during lift construction. The lift hill will be topped off by the end of the month. October, we will see the first drop complete. By the end of the season, we might see the 178 ft. hill complete. On November, we will see the completion of the 151 ft. camelback hill and the 121 ft. hammerhead. By the end of 2009, we will see track up to the block brake complete. In January 2010, the diving helix and last hills will go up completing track work. On February 2010, the station will be complete as well as transfer track and the train will arrive. By the end of February, testing and landscaping will start. On March, the queue will be complete and the entrance will go up. By the beginning of April, landscaping and theming will be complete and testing will be finalized. The coaster will open April 12, 2010.

*As for Intimidator 305, still no track, but they put up supports leading to the station. KD better get track up to get some attention away from Carowinds.

*Speaking of track, Screamscape reported that some new B&M track has shown up at the B&M Plant in Ohio. It was unpainted as of now. Now I don't know what type of track it is, but some guy at TPR says that it might be for SFMM. I'm not too sure. Maybe I'll get an idea once I know what track it is.

*Speaking of B&M, Chang might be relocated from Six Flags Kentucky Kingdom to Six Flags Great America for their 50th anniversary. I'm not sure why though. I'm a bit worried about Iron Wolf. Iron Wolf and Chang are both B&M stand-ups so I don't think it makes sense to having two B&Ms of the same kind at the same park (unless it will be dueling, but I doubt it). If Iron Wolf leaves, they should relocate it to Six Flags Great Adventure.

Intimidator Update

Track work has begun on Intimidator today people. The new Intimidator coaster at Carowinds had its first 4 pieces of track go up today. These four pieces make up the station and part of the turnaround leading to the station! Here is a pic from the webcam:

I was looking at the webcam last Saturday, but just saw regular work. So today, they snuck the track and supports and put them up when I wasn't looking... when I was in the middle of school! >:( Well, at least track work began today! I'm so excited!
