Tomorrow, Manta at SeaWorld Orlando is officially opening. Anyways here is a new Manta timeline, from where I last left off to now:
March 5, 2009 - SeaWorld made Lowe's a sponser of Manta. The lift hill side of the station is painted pink and blue. Landscaping on the first half of the coaster begins and a pathway is poured to split the construction site.
March 14, 2009 - Test runs begin overnight.
March 30, 3009 - Landscaping for the first half of Manta is complete and construction walls for the first half come down.
April 9, 2009 - The first train's Zero-Car is painted.
April 24, 2009 - The manta has gone up on the entrance.
April 25, 2009 - The entrance sign has gone up on the manta ray.
April 28, 2009 - The splash area is filled. The on-ride camera has gone up. TV monitors appear at the on-ride booth. TM Previews occur. All the
April 30, 2009 - 10 manta rays appear in the queue.
May 3, 2009 - Soft-openings begin on Manta.
May 22, 2009 - Manta opens to the public. Aquarium opens as well.
