SFMM 2013 Construction Update #1

The plot thickens on SFMM's supposed 2013 coaster project (taking over Log Jammer's space). From bostonlva at ThemeParkReview:

Six Flags Magic Mountain already working on their "next record breaker!" @SFMagicMountain #WestCoastBash

If this is referring to the 2013 attraction, then it could be a giga perhaps?

This could be something rather big if this is true. I'm already picturing a Skyrush-type Giga from Intamin towering over the Log Jammer plot (with those impressive trains) and hopefully it is full of intense turns, airtime hills, and possibly a tunnel.

Speaking of tunnels, it looks like the monorail track has been removed from the tunnel underneath Laughing Dragon and the path leading towards Superman's entrance (February 18th):

This has led to some speculation of the tunnel being reused for the supposed coaster. Let's update the overview (new details added, such as Superman's station, Laughing Dragon, and the old metro tunnel):

I will update this image as I get more information. If the plot expands (possibly will), I will get a new overview picture.

The old metro tunnel opens up new possibilities. Could it be reused for the new coaster with possibly an on-ride camera? I think it's possible (very possible). Adding a little more fuel to the fire, it looks like heavy equipment tracks are leading right into the tunnel (meaning that work could be going on inside) according to this update:

This project is really rising in the interesting meter!

In other news, Thrill Shot has been removed (after sitting a couple of years unused). Lex Luthor has also begun construction recently.
