Universal Future #8 (A New Coaster in Universal Studios Japan)

According to Screamscape, it says that along with the proposed layout to take Universal Studios Japan private, there are rumors of a new attraction debuting in the park. Rumors began to sprung up on January 14, 2009, and by January 16, 2009, the new attraction was stated to be another coaster, since Hollywood Dream: The Ride, a B&M Hypercoaster in USJ which opened 2007, was a big hit. Assuming they went more family friendly with the coaster, Screamscape soliloquizes that it is time for a coaster intense with inversions. Screamscape surmises that a coaster like Hulk, Dueling Dragons, or the Kong version of the dragons debuting in Dubai, is in the drawing board. USJ only has one Marvel-themed attraction: Spider-Man. I think it is time for a 2nd Marvel-themed attraction: The HULK! Screamscape states that the coaster will open 2010 or 2011. Like the IOA version, it should have an on-ride photo and an on-ride video like the one recently installed at IOA.

Upcoming Theme Park additions

Busch Gardens Africa:

*Garden Gate Cafe (replacing Hospitality House)

SeaWorld Orlando:

*Manta (Steel/Flying Coaster)

Magic Kingdom:

*Space Mountain rehab
*Hall of Presidents rehab (installing Obama animatronic)

Disney's Hollywood Studios:

*American Idol Experience

Islands of Adventure:

*The Wizarding World of Harry Potter

Universal Studios Florida:

*Hollywood Rip, Ride, Rockit
*Ampitheater (replacing Boneyard)

P.S.: I know Busch Gardens was right to close Hospitality House, but mom likes the beer there. It sucks that they took it out.

Brazil: Part 4 of 4 RETURN (January 2, 2009 - January 3, 2009)

I woke up on January 2, 2009, the last day in Brazil. When we left, I was saddened, as I really wanted to live in Brazil. Mom cheered me up by getting a comic for me. My uncle dropped us off at the airport and we left. Like the first trip, we stopped at Panama and returned to Miami after midnight.

Brazil: Part 3 of 4 A BRAND NEW YEAR (December 30, 2008 - January 1, 2009)

Today, December 30, 2008, we went to a beach in Niteroí, which mom and dad thought was pretty, but then they saw it was not pretty. There was gross stuff everywhere, so we swam in my cousin's pool. That night, we visited my mom's uncle's club. The next day, December 31, 2008, the final day of 2008, we washed my other aunt's car and returned it to her. I have not seen her since Teresópolis. We spent the day in Rio, and spent New Years Eve in Copa Cabana, a beach in downtown Rio. Dad was a bit crazy that night, which was what made it cool. :D. I woke up on January 1, 2009, and returned to Niteroí.

Brazil: Part 2 of 4 BUZIOS (December 26, 2008 - December 29, 2008)

We left Terisópolis on December 26, 2008 and arrived back at Rio de Janeiro. But before that, we hiked a tropical mountain in the Serra dos Órgãos National Park, in the outskirts of Teresópolis. Initially, I thought we were going to spend the rest of the trip in Rio de Janeiro... BUT I WAS WRONG! Unexpectedly, we went to Buzios, a beach town east of Rio. My brother finished reading his comic, "Watch Man" on our way to the town. When we arrived at Buzios, we toured the town. They had appetizing lime ice cream.:P mmmmmm..... Delicious. The next day, December 27, 2008, we learned that the hotel room we stayed in sucked. i.e. moth-eaten blankets, and the toilet which did not work. We were about to return to Niteroí, but the manager of the hotel found us a room, which was perfect, so we continued our stayin Buzios. That day, I began thinking of surfing the next day, and that night I went to a building which holds a game: "Laser Tag: The Ultimate Laser Adventure." I played laser tag there. The next day, December 28, 2008, it turned out that I surfed after all. That was a great gift for the last day in Buzios. That night, I played laser tag and ate ice cream one last time. The next day, December 29, 2008, we left Buzios, before the owner of the room the manager bought came, because we did not want him to get angered with the manager that he still sees us when we were not supposed to be here. The owner, by the way, is a friend of my uncle's dad. We stopped at Cabo Frio, a town between Buzios and Niteroí, for lunch and returned to Niteroí.

Upcoming Trips

1. Disney (1/24/09)
2. Europe (This summer)
3. Busch Gardens Africa (This summer)

P.S.: The bold means that it is a rumor. I had a trip to Brazil, over Winter Break and told my cousins there about SheiKra and showed them my video, so they might be coming this summer to check it out. THIS REMAINS A RUMOR!

Green Lanturn: The Ride

Medusa refurbishment in Six Flags Great Adventure is enough but this?! A B&M DIVE MACHINE OPENING IN SIX FLAGS GREAT AMERICA?! Oh my! It is still a rumor however. If it happens it should take the space of where the Deja Vu roller coaster and Splashwater Falls once were. They both closed on 2007. Here is how it should go:

Theme: Green Lanturn
Ride name: "Green Lanturn: The Ride"
Type: Steel/Floorless/Dive Coaster
Track color: Green
Manufacturer: Bolliger & Mabillard
Harness color: Green
Back rest: Black
Park: Six Flags Great America
Park section: County Fair

Summary: You leave the station in a 180 degree turn to the right followed by a 210 ft. lift hill in a 45 degree angle. You turn to the right again and enter the holding brakes and you get hanged, and after 5 seconds, you drop 90 degrees from 210 ft below a bridge leading to the entrance of the ride. Instead of an Immelmann (like SheiKra, Griffon, and Vertical Coaster), you go through a cobra roll over the turn before the lift (making this the first dive machine to have an inversion other than the Immelmann). After exiting the cobra roll, you make a turn going back up 45 degrees to the right followed by a block brake 149 ft. above ground level. You then drop 149 ft. in a 85 degree angle under the walkway which is currently between what used to be the Deja Vu coaster and Splashwater Falls water ride. You exit the tunnel in an overbanked turn leading to the splash down (on the lake of what used to be Splashwater Falls). Then comes a bunny hop leading to the Immelmann and a diving helix (like Manta, except not flying) thus ending the ride.

P.S.: The station, maintenance building, track before tunnel, and track after the splash down should be on the former Deja Vu site.

P.S.S.: If this happens it will be America's first non-Busch dive machine.

P.S.S.S.: I don't really think this will happen, because in Deja Vu's old site, they're building Buccaneer Battle (opening this year for those of you who don't know). I'm not sure what will become of Splashwater Falls, but according to Screamscape, the Go-Carts attraction will move for expansion of Hurricane Harbor. I hope not, because the Splashwater Falls site being abandoned might bring a bit of hope for Green Lanturn: The Ride's splash down.

Brazil: Part 1 of 4 THE BEGINNING (December 21, 2008 - December 25, 2008)

I bet you guys are all wondering why I haven't posted any comments lately. It is because I was in Brazil. I did many extraordinary things there, such as riding a horse in Petropolis, and surfing in Buzios. I also did laser tag in Buzios, which truly was the ultimate laser adventure. The stuff I mentioned, by the way, are the stuff I did for the very first time. Here is how it went. We arrived from the airport on December 21, 2008 and I spent time with my cousins in Niteroi, a city on the other side of the bay of Rio de Janeiro (in case you don't know). It is home to most of my relatives on my mom's side. The next day (December 22, 2008), we went to a town in the mountains north of Rio called Petropolis. We went to my aunt's house before arriving at the hotel. We then explored Petropolis on December 23, 2008 and plans for Petropolis began 1843 and the colony opened to colonists on 1845. The town is home to the last house of Santos Dumont before his death, and a crystal palace. On December 24, 2008, I rode a horse at the hotel (just in time for Christmas), and left Petropolis that day and arrived at Terisópolis where I met my mom's aunt who is about 90 years old (this month she'll be 91). The next day, I woke up on Christmas and went to Anta and had a Christmas Party there. The party was also because my cousin was getting engaged. We returned to Terisópolis.

SheiKra (My official favorite ride at BGA)

I have decided that my favorite attraction in Busch Gardens Africa is the vertical drop coaster known as the SheiKra. Here are the reasons why I like it better than Kumba and Montu:

*For some reason during my Thanksgiving trip to Busch Gardens, Kumba's front row wasn't as good as the back row, but both SheiKra's front row and SheiKra's back row were as good as each other.

*This is the Montu reason. Yes, both Montu and SheiKra hang, but Montu doesn't go through water or goes 90 degrees straight down.

P.S.: Kumba and Montu are still cool. I just like SheiKra the most.
