Journey to the Center of the Earth - The Ride

I've built a new ride in my theme park (in the Jules Verne section) named Journey to the Center of the Earth - The Ride, based on the book (by Jules Verne), and the 2008 movie. You go up a 200 ft. lift hill and make a u-turn once you make it to the top. Then you drop 90 degrees straight down from 200 ft. and go to a 145 ft. Immelmann loop and go to some brakes as you head toward the 81 degree drop and go through some corkscrews, another Immelmann, and one Zero-G Roll. You then turn right and ride through the splashdown and return to the station. This is the most thrilling ride in my park.

P.S.: This ride is similar to the SheiKra (Busch Gardens Africa, Tampa, Florida), and the Griffon (Busch Gardens Europe, Williamsburg, Virginia).

Trip

It's now official: we're going to Busch Gardens, like I said earlier on July 21, 2008. My mother bought the tickets yesterday. We shall leave the house to Tampa on Wednesday July 30, 2008, go to Busch Gardens on Thursday July 31, 2008, go to Naples on Friday August 1, 2008, and finally return on Saturday August 2, 2008. Now I have a reserved space for ride photos of me on the Kumba and SheiKra, which I'll get on this future trip. I already have ride photos of me on the Gwazi (with dad, and my brother Charles) (in Busch Gardens, when I was little), the Giant Dipper (with the same people) (Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk, California, a year after I conquered my roller coaster phobia), the Incredible Hulk Coaster (with only dad) (Islands of Adventure on my January 20, 2008 trip I mentioned earlier, after the comment stating the rumor of me going to Busch Gardens), and Ripsaw Falls (with dad, Uncle Scott, Aunt Debbie, and my cousin Sara) (also at Islands of Adventure on my June 6, 2008 trip I mentioned earlier).

USJ Plot

In Universal Studios Japan, the attractions are E.T. Adventure, Shrek 4-D, Sesame Street 4-D, Beetlejuice (as Universal Monsters), Animation Celebration 3-D, Hollywood Dream-The Ride, Fantastic World, Spider-Man, T2:3D, Back to the Future: The Ride, Backdraft, Jurassic Park River Adventure, Water World, Jaws, Snoopy's Playland, Snoopy's Sound Stage Adventure, Wicked and Toto & Friends (replacing Wild Wild West and Animal Actors), and Peter Pan's Neverland. However, they haven't done any other rides. They didn't do King Kong, Revenge of the Mummy, or the other Marvel attractions. They have to do the Simpsons Ride. It's making money. Its Florida version had its one-millionth rider on July 14, 2008. They just have to do it in Japan. It'll be a hit. But, they should try to do it WITHOUT replacing BTTF. Here is what I think they should do in Japan:

1. They should do a Marvel section featuring Dr. Doom's Fearfall and the Incredible Hulk Coaster, and have the Spider-Man ride in the New York section moved to the Marvel section. The building that formerly occupied the Spider-Man ride should become King Kong.

2. There is a sound stage in the Hollywood section that is empty. That particular sound stage should become Revenge of the Mummy.

Universal Future 7 (Expansion)

Universal plans to expand Universal Studios Florida. I think the rides in the expansion should be Backdraft, Water World, Journey to the Center of the Earth 4D, and Journey to the Center of the Earth: The Ride, as well as Backdraft Outfitters, Journey to the Center of the Earth: The Store, Doc Brown's Chicken, Warehouse Fire Café and Iceland Steakhouse.

Fake Closure

In Universal Studios Florida, the Terminator 2: 3D is rumored to close. I don't think it's closing though. That ride is a real hit. I heard that a kid said the 3D doesn't work anymore and it was on December. When I went to Universal in December and June, the 3D was working perfectly. That guy wasn't wearing his 3D glasses correctly. I think if the ride closes, a lot of fans and guests (like me) will be angered. The only rides they should get rid of and replace are Fear Factor LIVE! and Poseidon's Fury. Those two bore me. They could've done better with Poseidon's Fury, like make it a water roller coaster like Journey to Atlantis in Sea World. Plus, in Fear Factor LIVE!, the undesirable food made me want to barf.

P.S.: I've also went to Universal last January, but I didn't get to go on Terminator.

Breaking News!

RUMOR: I think in a few days, I'm going to Busch Gardens in Tampa. I think I'm going on the roller coasters. The roller coasters I went on are the Python (now closed and replaced by Jungala), Scorpion, and Gwazi. I didn't go on the Kumba or Montu because I was too small for those rides, and my roller coaster phobia (which I conquered two years ago when I went on the Ice Dragon in Dueling Dragons for the 1st time). I didn't go on the SheiKra or Cheetah Chase, because last time I went to Busch Gardens was when I was really little and they opened when I was growing up. I heard rumors that the SheiKra has a 90 DEGREE DROP!!! WOW! Please post it either on my GMail or on my blog. This remains a rumor: it's possible that we may cancel the trip.

Country Walk

Listener, I've been reading your comment on the Simpsons Ride. It will be a shame to lose BTTF in Japan. It's the only one left. So I have a plan. Half of the attraction will close and be replaced by the Simpsons Ride's right dome. BTTF's right dome will become its left dome, because the ride will expand, as well as the Simpsons Ride. The Back to the Future Gifts will be moved to the right of the right dome. The Kwik-E-Mart (the Simpsons Ride gift shop) will be left of the left dome. As you enter this section (Country Walk), you'll see a fountain of Krusty the Clown. You then see the DeLorean time machine, and hedges shaped like Krusty's head and a DeLorean. Before you leave the walkway leading to the two rides, you see a Krusty Burger on your left and Doc Brown's Chicken on your right. You're now in front of the two rides and can see the characters Homer Simpson, Marge Simpson, Bart Simpson, and Lisa Simpson can be seen in this area, as well as Dr. Emmett Brown. The Simpsons family can be seen throughout the park on a bus. You can hear bands playing "Country Walk." Other music you can hear is the Simpson's theme song, and the Back to the Future theme song. You can find a hot dog stand in front of the Simpsons Ride.

Sensational Studios

I'm thinking of doing a movie studio named Sensational Studios. My movies there may include:

1. The Endless Death
2. Arctic Spider: The Movie
3. Fissure

So there are two disaster movies (The Endless Death and Fissure) and one superhero movie (Arctic Spider: The Movie).

In Arctic Spider: The Movie, there will be two rides from my theme park in RTC3 that will appear in the movie. They will be Dr. Doom's Fearfall, and the Terminator Coaster. Here is the plot:

The Hobgoblin escapes a confrontation with Arctic Spider and heads toward a theme park: Islands of Adventure #2. There we see a park inspector evaluating the Terminator Coaster. Hobgoblin then places a bomb on the track. It explodes and the railings break . The assistant manager notifies it to the park inspector. A car goes up and out of the track and nearly collides with Dr. Doom's Fearfall. Then Arctic Spider saves it and pulls it back to the track. One of the riders was in a state of shock. Arctic Spider fixes the railings and lets the car go through the rest of the coaster.

My Reaction

Listener, I also don't know what Project Strongarm is. I definitely agree with you when you said that the Nicktoon characters are badly needed heroes for children, and that the Hollywood Rip, Ride, Rockit will be as cool as the Hulk. Compared to the new coasters, the Hollywood Rip, Ride, Rockit isn't all fast. I mean, look at the Kingda Ka (located at Six Flags Great Adventure), it's 128 miles per hour. It is the fastest and tallest roller coaster in the world. I also think it is absurd that Universal won't renew its license agreement with Nick. The characters are so cute and the attraction is very popular, and it would be a shame to lose it all.

Universal Future 6 (The Creature From the Black Lagoon: The Musical)

Rumors are that the Fear Factor LIVE at Universal Studios Hollywood will close down by December 2008 and be replaced by the Creature From the Black Lagoon: The Musical. I have my eye on the one in Florida.

Universal Future 5 (Backlot Fire!!!!)

*On June 1, 2008, a three-alarm fire occurred at the backlot area in Universal Studios Hollywood, destroying the New York Street, the Video Vault, New England Street, partial of Courthouse Square (the courthouse was spared), and the King Kong attraction. On June 3, 2008, Universal announced that they will not rebuild the King Kong attraction (which angered many fans), while the rest of the backlot that was burned will be rebuilt. King Kong will be replaced by something else. Likely a 2005 movie version of King Kong. I have my eye on that building and what it will be replaced by. If you people who post comments have any news about what it will be replaced by, please post it either on GMail, or on my blog.

Universal Future 4 (The Simpsons Ride in Japan?)

I was looking at a page of Universal Studios Japan a few weeks ago and it said there was going to be a Krustyland section of the park featuring the Simpsons Ride, which is my favorite ride at Universal Studios Florida. In case you've forgotten, my favorite rides at Islands of Adventure are the Amazing Adventures of Spider-Man and the Incredible Hulk Coaster. On May 15, 2008, the Simpsons Ride opened in Universal Studios Florida and on May 19, 2008 the ride in Universal Studios Hollywood opened, both replacing the Back to the Future rides. The Back to the Future ride in Florida closed half of it in September 2006, and it completely closed in March 30, 2007. The Back to the Future ride in Hollywood closed half of it on January 7, 2007 and it completely closed in September 3, 2007. The ride in Japan is still open. Right now, I have my eye on that ride. The Simpsons Ride will appear in the upcoming Universal Studios Singapore along with the Back to the Future ride. If you have any news about the Back to the Future ride in Japan or the Simpsons Ride appearing in Japan, please post it either on GMail or on my blog.

Universal Future 3 (A New Coaster at Universal Studios Florida)

*On January 11, 2008, Universal filed a Notice of Commencement with Orange County, Florida indicating that they were to construct a roller coaster code-named Project Rumble. The attraction was announced on March 19, 2008. Universal officials revealed that the lift hill will be 167 feet tall making it the tallest in Orlando. Its speed will be 65 miles per hour. The station will be between Jimmy Neutron's Nicktoon Blast at Universal Studios Florida and Blue Man Group at Universal CityWalk Orlando. Construction began on May 15, 2008 with the clearing of some break room trailers and ground clearing. Another part of its construction is the Boneyard closure on May 30, 2008 to make way for the entrance to the coaster. Hollywood Rip, Ride, Rockit will go over the CityWalk and New York sections at Universal Orlando Resort. Here's concept art of it:

Universal Future 2 (Jimmy Neutron's Nicktoon Blast closing?!)

*Rumors are that Jimmy Neutron's Nicktoon Blast at Universal Studios Florida next to IOA will close by 2009, due to the end of Universal's license agreement with Nickelodeon. On December 11 2007, a row of the attraction's simulator vehicles were shut down, possibly preparing the ride for its closure.

Universal Future 1 (The Wizarding World of Harry Potter)

*On May 31, 2007, Universal announced that it had secured the rights from Warner Bros. and from British author J. K. Rowling to bring The Wizarding World of Harry Potter to Universal Orlando Resort's Islands of Adventure. The end of 2007, the Wizarding World of Harry Potter began construction and is expected to open in late 2009 or early 2010. When I went to Islands of Adventure on June 6, 2008, Hogwarts Castle was under construction next to the Flying Unicorn, still in its original theme. There are two rides that will be themed to Harry Potter: Dueling Dragons and the Flying Unicorn. They were still at their original theme when I went there on June 6, 2008. The new island will replace a portion of the Lost Continent, a portion of Jurassic Park, some parts of the former Studio Tour and what is currently backstage and supporting areas, and employee parking. It won't affect any attractions except for the Flying Unicorn and Dueling Dragons. The Flying Unicorn closed July 9, 2008 for construction, but Dueling Dragons remains open. The Enchanted Oak Restaurant closes as well in July 9, 2008 to also be rethemed. A wall was put in front of Dueling Dragons that day and blocked the Flying Unicorn, Enchanted Oak Restaurant, and the Dragon's Keep store. Dragon’s Keep merchandise has now been shrunk down to work from a merchandise cart by the lockers and is mostly only selling the smaller items.

Here is a map of the new future island:

Here's an "owl's-eye" view of the Wizarding World of Harry Potter.

Here is the wall that blocked the Flying Unicorn, Enchanted Oak Restaurant, and Dragon's Keep.

If you have any news about this, please post it either on GMail or on my blog.
